Help us support Lucky and the many dogs that come in just like him
Lucky is a eight week old pitbull mix who was thrown away into the night slot of the Martinez County Shelter. When we got him, every bone in his body was showing, and he had no immune system to protect himself from the many infections he suffered.
This emaciated puppy has had over $1,000 in vet bills to keep him alive, and his costs are climbing. Please donate to The Dog Spot so we can help give a chance to dogs like Lucky!Lucky Update: Since we rescued Lucky, he has gained a lot of weight and has become a rolly-polly, bouncy puppy, eager to love and please. Lucky has even found a new loving home where he will live happily for the rest of his life! His medical bill ended up costing $3,000 Thank you for all your donations, for volunteering, helping us transport, everything!
We could not have done this without you! Please continue to support us so we can help other dogs in need.

Foster Homes Needed Now!
We are looking for loving homes to provide short term foster care for small and large adult dogs, pups with moms and orphans. Food provided.
Note: All foster family's should consider carefully the impact of a shelter dog in their home. Shelter dogs could be in contact with conditions and diseases which they may have undetected, which could impact humans and pets.
